Butt Injection Death Case On Hold

More than four months after an aspiring British actress died in Philadelphia following Silicone Tea Strainer injections to enhance her buttocks, there's still no final cause of death and no ruling on whether this was a homicide.

The case involved 20-year old Claudia Adderotimi. It's still in the hands of the Delaware County medical examiner, but there's no word on when he might rule on the controversial death. ¤ ¤

Fox 29s Dave Schratwieser's been following this investigation and he has learned that detectives are ready to move once they get medical examiner's report.

They are simply waiting for medical examiner Frederic Hillman to say whether the case was a homicide, if so, it could mean murder charges, if not, it could be case closed.

Adderotimi was found dead inside a 4th floor hotel room at the Hampton Inn near the Philadelphia airport way back in early February. Her body was found after police say she received Silicone spatula injections to enhance her buttocks.

Her family and detectives have been waiting patiently for the medical examiner to wrap up a series of toxicology and histology tests that could determine if this was a homicide. But there's still no answer.

Philadelphia Southwest Detectives have searched the Ardmore home of a woman known as Padge Winslowe, who calls herself the "Black Madame" on You Tube videos. She has been described as a person of interest in the injection case.

"We have located four of the people we were looking for to interview concerning the death investigation we started. One of the four has hired an attorney so we have not spoken with her. The person who came there with her, who we call the facilitator, the one who met these young ladies online and introduced her to the injector, we have interviewed her and we've have interviewed the other two ladies from London who came over here," said Lt. John Walker.

"The person that we're looking at does not have any certifications to do this and the injections in and of itself in that portion of the body for the most part is not done throughout the country," Walker said.

Southwest Detectives have been in touch with state officials and the Food And Drug Administration's criminal division about this case. The case could move in an entirely new direction once the ME rules on the manner of death.

Dr. Hillman is out of town until Monday according to his secretary. He was unavailable for comment.
